Michigan Men's Swimming Defeats Gators

The University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team defeated Florida 137-106 Friday in a dual meet held at Canham Natatorium.
The Gators are now 4-1 overall this season.
Florida won the first event of the day when Mike Jansen (Wellington, Fla.), Ian Chadsey (Reston, Va.), Adam Sioui (Ontario, Canada) and Carlos Jayme (Goias, Brazil) combined to finish first in the 400-meter medley relay in 3:52.33. Michigan took the next two event before Jayme won the 50-meter freestyle event, touching the wall in 24.08. Other individual winners for Florida included Eric Donnelly (Sarasota, Fla.), who won the 200-meter individual medley and 200-meter butterfly, and Zach Wilcox (Yarrow Point, Wash.) who won the three-meter diving event.
The Gators travel to Clemson on Friday, Nov. 9, for a 4 p.m. meet with the Tigers. Florida then travels to the University of South Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m.
