2003 TRW Regional Challenge
W Golf Falls To 15th At Northrop Grumman Challenge

The 10th-ranked University of Florida women's golf team fell to 15th place after finishing the second round of the 2003 Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge with a score of 640 (310-330) at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. Pepperdine is currently in first place with a two-round score of 598 (284-314).
Senior Brittany Straza (Fort Myers, Fla.) led the Lady Gators during the first day of competition with a four-over-par 75, but withdrew during the second round of competition. Sophomore Andrea Vander Lende (Longwood, Fla.) is tied for 42nd place with a score of 158 (76-82). Freshman Aimee Cho (Orlando, Fla.) is one stroke back from Vander Lende with a score of 82 and is tied for 47th place. Senior Jeanne Cho (Bradenton, Fla.) is tied for 70th place after shooting a 10-over-par 81, and freshman Camila Gonzalez (Bucaramanga, Columbia) rounds out the scoring for the Lady Gators in 76th place with a two-round total of 167 (82-85).
Florida will begin the final round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge Wednesday with a shot-gun start scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time. Live scoring of the tournament can be accessed at www.golfstat.com.
