Gators-Ducks softball Super Regional delayed; new start time is 3:56 p.m.

The Florida-Oregon softball game in the Gainesville Super Regional is currently delayed due to rain and lightning.
The seats at Pressly Stadium quickly filled for the scheduled 2 p.m. start but at 1:51 it was announced the first pitch would be delayed for at least 30 minutes. About 30 minutes later is when the rain began.
The Gators (50-10) are hosting the Ducks (42-14) with a berth to the College World Series on the line in the best-of-three series. Florida is seeking its fourth consecutive trip to the WCWS.
According to the latest update, the first pitch is now scheduled for 3:56 p.m.
