Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge
UF Enters Final Round at Northrop Grumman in 12th; Jensen, Hedberg in Top-20

Following a second round 308 (+24), the UF women's golf team sits in 12th place at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge with a two-day total of 610 (+42). The No. 12 ranked Gators will enter the final round with two golfers, senior Evan Jensen (Belleair, Fla.) and freshman Camilla Hedberg (Sitges, Spain), in the top-20.
Jensen has carded a two day total of 147 (72-75, +5) while Hedberg has shot a six-over 148 (76-72) through two rounds. Jensen and Hedberg are tied for 14th and tied for 19th, respectively.
“Evan and Camilla really grinded hard today and played solid golf,” head coach Jan Dowling said “Camilla made a nice adjustment with her putting today so she's excited about placing it all together tomorrow. Evan played well and birdied two holes in a row. Her finish was unfortunate but she's a very mature player so it won't affect her tomorrow”
Junior Mia Piccio (Bacolod City, Philippines) followed up her first round one-over 72 with a second round 79 (+8). Piccio will enter the third round tied for 35th with a 151 (+9).
Senior Andrea Watts (Bradenton, Fla.) has a two round total of 166 (84-82, +24) and Junior Isabelle Lendl (Goshen, Conn.) has shot a two round total of 171 (82-89, +29).
“It was a pretty frustrating day for us but we have a fresh start tomorrow and we're capable of a lot better,” said Dowling.
No. 1 UCLA will take an 18-stroke lead over Southern Cal into the final round while Lindy Duncan from Duke leads all individuals after day two of the Ohio State hosted tournament.
