PHOENIX -- After basically eight straight days of me hanging out with the basketball team, interviewing players and coaches after closed practices and on chartered flights, and pointing my cellphone camera at them for candid “tweet pics,” I think it's time to leave the guys alone.
The Gators have business to tend to tonight without the ubiquitous GatorZone fly on the wall.
And who out there is going to disagree with me?
Spent this morning with the team at the shoot-around at USAirways Arena (that's me alongside BillyD earlier today), site of tonight's West Region nightcap semifinal against Marquette. GatorZone colleague Scott Carter and I are about to head over to catch the early game between No. 1 seed Michigan State and No. 4 seed Louisville. That cold be a good one.
So don't expect any more shots of the team hopping on the bus, staring at the windows at police escorts or walking into the arena. The next photos I tweet out will probably be from UF's warm-ups for that 10:20 EST tipoff tonight.
