Gators Tied for Fifth After Round One at the Sea Best Invitational

Unable to finish 36 holes before nightfall, the Sea Best Invitational teams will resume their final holes tomorrow morning before playing the regularly scheduled 18. Florida sits tied for fifth (+16) with just three holes to play in round two.
Donning the Orange and Blue for the first time, sophomore transfer Richard Donegan was the highest finishing Gator after round one, shooting one-over (73). Donegan birdied twice in the first round and had made two on the back nine before the suspension of play. He will finish on holes one and two in the morning.
Buddy's Bite: “Really a disappointing day today. We couldn't have been more ready to play. We have guys that are playing extremely well and just didn't do anything positive today. Richard (Donegan) played ok his first time out as Gator, I walked with him all day. He was decent, but the other four played pretty poorly and this afternoon was no better. We have to find a way to improve and get this thing figured out.”
