22 UF Student-Athletes to Participate in Fall Commencement

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Fall graduation ceremonies take place on the University of Florida campus this weekend, with 22 current and former Gator student-athletes participating in commencement events. UF's fall commencement ceremonies take place Saturday, Dec. 19.
Among the graduates are three who were part of Gator national championship gymnastics teams – Kytra Hunter and Rachel Spicer (2013, 2014, 2015) and Lauren Rose (2013, 2014).
Robin Reynolds was part of two NCAA title relays at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships – 4x100 and 4-x400. Hunter is a two-time Honda Award winner for gymnastics and is the Gators' career leader with four NCAA individual titles. In addition, Hunter also was the 2015 Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Year.
Three will graduate cum laude – Rose, Spicer and soccer's Valerie Tysinger.
During the course of their collegiate academic career, 19 of the graduates appeared on an All-SEC Academic Honor Roll.
