Senior Maria Torres and freshmen Marta Perez and Carlotta Ricolfi shared the individual title. Both Torres and Ricolfi cared a 76 in the first round and a 69 in the second round to finish the tournament at one-over (145).
Meanwhile, Perez used a bogey-free final round to record a four-under (68) to also finish at one-over (145). The 68 Perez shot is the best round of her college career.

Seniors Kelly Grassel and Karolina Vlckova both finished in a tie for 14th place, carding a seven-over (151).
Competing as an Individual, sophomore Sam Wagner tied for fourth place, shooting two-over (146). It was Wagner's third top-10 finish of the 2016-17 season.
Head Coach Emily Glaser:
On the Gators' win at the Florida Challenge:
"Great win today against some in-state rivals. It feels good to start the spring with a win and I'm happy for our team. I thought we showed a lot of poise after a slow start in the morning, and it is great to see resilience from the group. We took a lot from today on what we can get better at for the tough fields we will face in the coming weeks. I'm also proud of Marta, Carlotta and Maria. We got some really great scores from them this afternoon and they really helped the team."
