Baggarly finishes below par while Tomlinson tied for ninth on leaderboard
NORMAN, Okla. -- The Gators moved up to second place on the leaderboard at the Schooner Fall Classic after carding a 286 (+2) on day two of the tournament.
Florida jumped out to a fast start on the front nine posting a score of one-under-par through the first nine holes. The Gators found their stroke through holes two through six as they had no blemishes on their scorecards.
Freshman Addie Baggarly finished the front with four birdies to her name. With two more on the back nine, she was able to post a 70 (-1) to lead the Gators.
Taylor Tomlinson remains in contention on the individual leaderboard as she is tied for ninth with a 36-hole score of 141 (-1).
The third and final round is scheduled to start tomorrow with the first tee at 10:30 a.m. (ET).
Coach's Take:
"Overall, I thought we played more solid today. We are making enough birdies to play very well. If we can clean up a few of our course management errors, we have the potential to post a great number and that will be our goal for tomorrow. We are excited to play in the final group with a couple of great SEC teams. " -Coach Emily Glaser
