PALOS VERDES, Calif. – After the first 18 holes of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and a two-hour weather delay, the Gators hold the 11 spot.

Junior Carlotta Ricolfi is competing as an individual and holds the best field position of the Gators with help from three birdies on her first nine holes and two more on her last nine. Bogeys haunted freshman Clara Manzalini through her final nine holes.

It was a tough day on the links, though, with only three players under par in the field of 84, and just four finishing even.
