
Gators Wrap Season with Sixth Place Finish at Liz Murphy Collegiate

ATHENS, Ga. – The UF women's golf team has ended their regular season with a down-to-the-wire match up against Ole Miss and finish in sixth place at the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic, hosted by Georgia.
After forcing a tie break and getting the win for the Gators in the second round yesterday, freshman Jenny Kim won her match today, 4&3. Junior Carlotta Ricolfi also won her final match, 4&3, after dropping both matches yesterday. Sophomore Lauren Waidner was all square heading into the final hole of the day but ended up dropping the match.
The Gators went 1-2 in match play this weekend after getting the 8-seed from one round of stroke play on Thursday. The format of the Liz Murphy is similar to what the Gators, Arkansas, Georgia, and Ole Miss will see next week at the SEC Championships and in NCAA Championships.
