No. 5 Gators Fall on the Road to Florida State, 10-2

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 5-ranked Florida baseball team fell on the road to Florida State, 10-2, Tuesday night from Dick Howser Stadium.
The Seminoles (7-6) jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first two innings but the Gators (13-5) tried to claw back, scoring two in the fifth.
Josh Rivera and Jacob Young both registered RBI singles to put Florida on the board. FSU added three more in the seventh to conclude the scoring in the Fresh From Florida Sunshine Showdown.
NEXT TIME OUT: Florida will open SEC play this week against Texas A&M for a three-game series at home. The conference season will begin on Thursday, March 18, on SEC Network at 7 p.m.
