The Florida women’s golf team is tied for 17th after 36 holes.
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of Florida women's golf team sits in a tie for 17th place at the conclusion of the second day of competition at the Gamecock Intercollegiate.
Incoming inclement weather altered the format of the tournament. After switching to a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start to begin the second round, golfers headed back out onto the course to begin the third and final round. The field made it through nine holes before the day was concluded.
Freshman Maisie Filler leads the Gators, sitting at 4-over par through 39 holes and tied for 28th individually.
Jenny Kim sits four strokes behind Filler, posting an 8-over par 152 as she navigates through the final eighteen holes.
The Gators will look to climb the leaderboard as they finish out the final round tomorrow morning. The day is scheduled to begin with an 11:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
