Two Gators Qualify for World Championships Finals

JAKARTA, Indonesia — University of Florida gymnasts Skye Blakely and Leanne Wong are headed to the finals at the FIG World Championships following their performances in qualification rounds at the Indonesia Arena.
Wong secured a spot in the all-around final, finishing ninth in qualifications with a total score of 51.865. She will be joined by U.S. teammate Dulcy Caylor, who qualified fifth with a 52.765. The all-around final is set for Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 a.m. ET.
Blakely earned a place in the uneven bars final after posting a score of 14.166 to qualify seventh. That final will take place Friday, Oct. 24 at 3 a.m. ET.

World Championships Qualification Scores
The top 24 from qualification advance to the World Championships' all-around final. The apparatus finals consist of those with the top eight qualifying scores.
Wong also qualified for the 2021 World Championships all-around final in Kitakyushu, Japan, taking silver. Blakey advanced to the 2022 balance beam final at the 2022 Worlds in Liverpool, England, taking fifth.
