
Florida's seven student-athletes all earned their first CSC accolade on Tuesday after being named to the CSC's All-District Team.
Florida Swim and Dive Places Seven on CSC Men’s and Women’s Academic All-District Teams

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Seven Gators from the men's and women's swimming and diving program were named to the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced.
Florida's Scotty Buff, Peyton Donald, Josh Liendo and Gio Linscheer were recognized on the men's side for their performances in the pool and in the classroom, while Casey Greenberg, Lainy Kruger and Michaela Mattes earned a spot on the women's team. It is the first CSC accolade for all seven student-athletes.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and
NAIA.
Liendo was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The junior earned six First-team All-American honors at last week's NCAA Men's Division I Championships. The Paris Olympic silver medalist won his third-straight 100 free national title and took home is second-consecutive title in the 100 fly. He was also a member of The Gators 400 medley relay team who won the program's third national title in 2:56.10 for an NCAA Meet record.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 22 (women) and April 24 (men).
CSC All-District team members meet the following criteria:
At least a sophomore athletically and academically
Owns at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average
Student-athletes must compete in five competitions OR finish top-eight at a conference meet.
