GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida gymnastics keeps adding talent to its 2027 freshman class.
The Florida Gators added another College Gym News five-star recruit to its 2027 freshman class, with Ella Fine signing with the Gators, head coach Jenny Rowland announced Wednesday.
Fine becomes the sixth signee in the Gators' 2027 class. Florida signed four in November - Dulcy Caylor, Kieryn Finnell, Jayla Hang and Simone Rose. The team added Carsyn Coleman to the class on Monday.
Fine is the fifth of the signees will be competing in the O'Connell Center in 2027. Caylor opted to defer enrollment as she pursues a spot on the 2028 U.S. Olympic team.
Coach Jenny Rowland says:
"We're incredibly excited to welcome Ella to our Gator family! She may be small, but she is mighty and extremely fierce. She brings a competitive presence that immediately elevates the room and is the type of athlete who isn't just chasing excellence, she expects it from herself every single day.

- Qualified for the 2026, 2025, 2024 (Junior) and 2023 (Jr) Nastia Liukin Cup. Fifth in vault in 2026. All-around and floor silver medalist in 2024.
- Qualified for 2026, 2024, 2023 and 2023 Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Championships. Missed 2025 event recovering from injury.
- 2026 – competes this weekend in Oklahoma City
- 2024 (Junior D) – 3rd on beam, 8th on floor and 9th in all-around
- 2023 (Junior B) – Floor champion, 4th on bars
- 2023 (Junior A) – 7th vault
- 2026 Region 8 Championships Senior D bars and floor gold medalist. Silver for all-around.
- Won all-around, vault, bars and floor at 2026 North Carolina Level 10 State Championships. Won both bars and floor with 10.0
- Trains at High Point Gymnastics Academy and coached by Buddy Thorburn, Rob Travers and Drew Hendershot
