Gators Place 95 on SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida placed 95 student-athletes on the 2026 Southeastern Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll, announced today by league commissioner Greg Sankey.
The 2026 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2025-26 summer, fall and spring terms. Florida placed 291 student-athletes on 2025-26 SEC Fall (142), Winter (54 ) and Spring Academic Honor Rolls.
The women's track & field team that won the SEC Triple Crown this season (SEC titles for cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field) placed 11 on the Academic Honor Roll. Florida's men's track & field saw 14 on the list.
The Gators' Big 12 champion lacrosse team saw 24 earn a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Nine from UF's Super Regional softball team earned spots on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Florida's baseball team saw 16 earning a spot on the team.
Other sport honoree numbers included seven for both women's and men's golf, men's tennis (6) and women's tennis (1).
Notes About Gator Honorees:
To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.

- Three Gators who picked up yearly conference athlete of the year accolades are on the SEC Academic Honor Roll – Kaitlyn Davies (Big 12 Midfielder), Aidan King (SEC Baseball Pitcher) and Alida van Daalen (SEC Outdoor Field)
- Alida van Daalen, the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association South Region Field Athlete of the Year, won the NCAA and Southeastern Conference discus titles.
- One on SEC Academic Honor Roll graduated summa cum laude in May - Kaitlyn Davies (Lacrosse). Cum Laude graduates include: Parker Bell (Golf), Cali Bishop (Lacrosse), Kate Drummond (Track & Field), Cade Kurland (Baseball), Matt Stratton (Track & Field), Ava Tighe (Lacrosse), Ashton Wilson (Baseball), Carly Wilson (Lacrosse)
- Nikola Daubnerova (tennis), Cade Kurland (baseball), Cassidy McLellan (softball) and Colleen Ryan (lacrosse) turned in 4.0 grade point averages for the 2025-26 academic year
