Gators release 2026-27 schedule

The regular season features four fall and five spring tournaments with the season opening up at the Cougar Classic (Sept. 7-8).
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida women's golf head coach Emily Glaser released the 2026-27 schedule on Monday. The regular season features four fall and five spring tournaments with the season opening up at the Cougar Classic (Sept. 7-8). The Gators were also ranked No. 7 and No. 12 in the Golfweek and Golf Channel preseason polls with Paula Francisco earning preseason All-American honors by both outlets.
An annual trip to Yeamans Hall begins the campaign followed by the Mason Rudolph Championship (Sept. 18-20) at Vanderbilt Legends Club. UF's final two fall tournaments will be played in October, starting first at The Ally (Oct. 5-7) at Old Waverly Golf Club where Florida has won three straight team titles. The fall finale is at the Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 16-18) where the Gators swept the team and individual titles in 2023.
Florida's second half of the season starts on the west coast at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge (Jan. 31-Feb. 2) at Palos Verdes Golf Club in California. The next two tournaments take place back in the 'Sunshine State' with the UNF Collegiate (Feb. 22-23) at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club followed by the 55th Gators Invitational (March 6-7) at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
At last year's home event, the Gators rewrote the record book in a sweep with Paula Francisco's first career victory. UF went wire-to-wire and won the event by 18 strokes while shooting a program-record 820 (-20) 54-hole tournament score, beating the previous low by 15 shots. In the opening round, the Gators reset the tournament low round record by score with a 271 (-9), three shots better than the previous record.
The victory was the 28th all-time in the 54th playing of the Gators Invitational, which started in 1973 as Francisco became the 12th UF golfer to claim medalist honors at the home tournament. The Gator sweep was the 11th occurrence all-time and in back-to-back seasons for first time since 2007-08 and just the fourth time overall. Additionally, the Gators have won 10 of the last 11 Gators Invitationals dating back to 2016.
The final two tournaments feature the Clemson Invitational (March 21-23), which Florida won for its fifth victory last season. A one-day, 36-hole contest at The Strutting Gus Shootout on April 12 at Forest Heights Country Club.
Postseason action starts with the SEC Championship at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla. from April 16-20 where Francisco won the 2026 SEC Individual Championship, marking conference leading 10th title for Florida. The senior aims to be the second UF golfer to win back-to-back since Deb Richard won three straight from 1982-84.
NCAA Regionals are set for May 10-12 as the selection show will be live on Golf Channel on April 28. Florida will host a regional in 2028 at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
