Fall Ball: Gators Return to Diamond on Monday

Week one of Florida’s fall season starts on Sept. 28, featuring intrasquad scrimmages on Friday and Saturday.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida baseball team officially begins its fall practice season on Monday, Sept. 28, with six practices and two intrasquad scrimmages announced for week one.
The first practice of the fall starts at 2 p.m. on Monday, followed by 2 p.m. practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. Intrasquad scrimmages are scheduled for Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11:45 a.m. before capping off week one with 2:30 p.m. practice on Sunday.
All fall practices and scrimmages are open to the public. Fans can access the concourse through Gate 3 of Condron Family Ballpark (located directly behind home plate).
Below is the full practice schedule for week one. All practice and approximate scrimmage times are subject to change.
*Scrimmages typically begin approximately 90 minutes to two hours into each practice
Additionally, Florida's fall season features five exhibition games against four collegiate opponents in October and November.
Entering the 2027 season, the Gators have advanced to a nation-high, 18-consecutive NCAA Tournaments dating back to Head Coach Kevin O'Sullivan's debut campaign in 2008. Although Florida leads the country with nine trips to the College World Series in the last 17 years, the Orange & Blue is looking to return to Omaha for the first time since making back-to-back appearances from 2023-24.
