2020 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in all 12 games of the season and started at defensive tackle in 11... Tallied 36 tackles (13 solo)... Led the Gators with 5.0 sacks and 9.5 tackles-for-loss, in addition to recovering a fumble and returning it for a touchdown... Recorded three total tackles (one solo) and 0.5 tackles-for-loss at Ole Miss (Sept. 26)... Was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week after his performance against South Carolina (Oct. 3), where he collected a season-high total of eight tackles (three solo) and a season-high 1.5 sacks... Tallied three tackles (one solo), including a tackle-for-loss at Texas A&M (Oct. 10)... Recorded one defensive stop against Missouri (Oct. 31), contributing to 0.5 tackle-for-loss... Set a career-high five quarterback hurries against Georgia (Nov. 7) after missing the first half of the game... 2019 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games and made starts against Vanderbilt (Nov. 9) and Missouri (Nov. 16) on the defensive line… Registered 31 tackles… Finished tied for second on the squad with career-highs in sacks (4.5) and tackles-for-loss (7.0)… Broke up a pair of passes and was credited with four quarterback hurries… Notched a season-high five stops on Homecoming against Auburn (Oct. 5)…Ended the regular season with a season-best 2.0 tackles-for-loss versus Florida State (Nov. 30)… Tied for a team-high 1.0 sack against Towson (Sept. 28)… Forced lone fumble of the year at South Carolina (Oct. 19)… Helped make Florida the only team in the SEC with more than six players with at least 3.0 sacks.
2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in nine games as a reserve defensive lineman and key special teams player… Totaled eight tackles, one tackle-for-loss, two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry… In his collegiate debut against Charleston Southern (Sept. 1) he tallied two tackles and a blocked kicked… The block came on a 22-yard field goal attempt by CSU at the end of the first half and it marked UF’s first blocked field goal since Nov. 26, 2016 at Florida State… Recorded his lone tackle-for-loss on the season at Tennessee (Sept. 22).
2017 (Freshman): Did not appear in a game and redshirted.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Helped the Hillsborough Terriers to an 8-2 record in 2016… As a sophomore and junior: totaled 149 tackles (86 solo), 7.1 tackles per game, 14 TFL, 8.5 sacks for 56 yards, 13 QB hurries, and 5 deflected passes… Defensive lineman on the 2016 All-Hillsborough County First Team… Named the Tampa Bay Times’ Blue Chips Player of the Year for the 2016 season… Played for coach Earl Garcia… A power forward in basketball, he averaged 11.3 points and 8.8 rebounds in 2015-16 as a power forward.
