AS A JUNIOR (2018): Ended his career with 25 wins, tied for seventh in Florida history…Had a career win percentage of .806 (25-6), third-best in school history…His 243 career strikeouts rank 10th all-time…Finished his final season with a 10-5 record and 3.04 earned run average over a team-high 18 starts…His 10 wins tied for 10th nationally and third in the SEC…Final ERA of 3.04 ranked seventh in the SEC…Led the team with 115 strikeouts, fourth-most in the SEC…Earned Second Team All-SEC Honors after going 6-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 10 league starts; six wins tied for the most in league play…In 18 total starts, he notched 13 quality starts of at least six innings with three or less earned runs allowed…Posted a 2.29 ERA in the NCAA Tournament with 24 strikeouts and six walks…Led the team with a 2.17 ERA in 10 starts against ranked opponents, limiting them to a .216 batting average against…Had perhaps the best start of his career in his last outing, going 6.2 shutout innings against Texas in the 2018 College World Series with only five hits allowed and a career-high 13 strikeouts; the 13 strikeouts set a record for strikeouts by a UF pitcher in the CWS and were the most by any pitcher since the CWS moved to TD Ameritrade Park in 2011; he was also the first pitcher in the last 40 years to strike out 13 in less than seven innings in a CWS game…In his penultimate start, he limited Auburn to three hits and one run in the Super Regional but did not qualify for a decision…Limited Texas A&M to just one hit over six innings on May 5 in College Station…Went seven shutout innings at Kentucky on April 20…Selected No. 33 overall by the Kansas City Royals in the 2018 MLB Draft.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Moved into the weekend starting rotation and finished the year tied for the best single-season record in school history with a 12-1 record (.923 win percentage)…His 12 wins led the SEC and ranked second in the country…Had a perfect 12-0 record until losing to TCU in his final start of the year at the College World Series…Posted a 4.08 earned run average over 18 starts while also making one appearance out of the bullpen…In Game 2 of the CWS Finals against LSU, he made his first relief appearance of the season and pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to earn his first career save and clinch the first national title in UF history…In his lone start at the CWS, he set a career high with 11 strikeouts against TCU…Set a new career high three times with 7.0 innings pitched against Columbia, at Georgia and vs. Mississippi State…Had an impressive 0.7 flyout-groundout ratio on the season (89 flyouts, 126 groundouts) and had a team leading 12 double plays turned while he was on the mound.
 
AS FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared in 12 games, starting 6…Pitched to a 3-0 record with an ERA of 3.37…Gave up 15 runs (13 earned) on 34 hits and 10 walks with 44 strikeouts in 34.2 innings of work…Held opponents to a .257 batting average against, which ranked second among all UF freshman pitchers…Established himself as a regular starter for midweek games…Picked up his first career win against UCF on March 2, throwing 5 shutout innings with 8 K’s, a career high…Defeated rival Florida State on March 29 by tossing 5 innings of one-run ball…Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
