2014: Played in all 12 games as the Gators’ longsnapper… Recorded one tackle on special teams… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll… 2013: Played in all 12 games for the Gators… Served as UF’s primary snapper for punts and field goals… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll… 2012: Began the season as the team’s starting long snapper, but suffered a season-ending injury in the first game against Bowling Green… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll… 2011: Made his Gator debut in the season opener against FAU… Served as the long snapper for both the field-goal and punt teams for the entire season, playing in all 13 games… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll… 2010: Did not see action in the 2010 season.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Played defensive end, offensive tackle and middle linebacker… Was a 5-star rated long snapper and ranked 14th in the nation by Chris Rubio Long Snapping… Won Coaches’ Award for hardest worker in Fall 2008 and named to second-team all-conference on offense and defense in the fall of 2009… Member of the varsity basketball team his junior and senior years and was a member of the varsity baseball team his senior year… Named to the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team four times in high school.
