Caroline Kirby joined the University of Florida Athletic Communications staff in July 2026 as a Communications Assistant serving as the primary contact for men’s and women’s swimming and diving.
Prior to Florida, Kirby served as a secondary communications contact for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville men’s and women’s swimming and diving program, where she created social media content, wrote recaps and supported media relations for the 2025 and 2026 Swimming and Diving SEC Championships. Also serving as the lead student-intern for Tennessee Football, Kirby was responsible for press conference operations, transcribing, preparing and editing media guides, flip cards and game notes and creation of media and photo credentials.
Kirby also interned with the Baltimore Ravens in marketing and events for the 2025 Training Camp where she executed fan activation experiences at 17 open practices at various Ravens facilities, interacting daily with 1,000+ fans while prioritizing customer service and enhancement of fan experience.
Before joining Tennessee Athletics Strategic Communications, Kirby served as a social media intern with Visit Knoxville Sports Commission and a baseball operations intern with Ripken Baseball.
Kirby graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.
A native of Bel Air, Maryland, Kirby enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.
