Lamar Sorey enters his fourth season with the Gators after being hired in the role of quality control - personnel prior to the 2022 season.
A native of Campbellton, Fla., Sorey joined the Gators after spending the 2021 season as a scouting assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Sorey, who earned his degree in sport management from Middle Tennessee State University in 2021, worked as a student assistant with the Blue Raiders from 2018-20.

A U.S. Army veteran, Sorey served as a logistic specialist from 2015-18. He was awarded the Army Achievement Medal in 2017 and the Army Commendation Medal is 2018.

Sorey is the first cousin of Champ Kelly, who currently serves as Senior Personnel Executive for the Miami Dolphins.
