Meredith Lucero joins the gymnastics staff for the 2024-25 season as Assistant to the Head Coach.
 
Lucero focuses on the many details in the Gators’ daily and travel schedules. She coordinates the team’s many Goodwill Gator activities, organize recruiting visits, be on the sidelines during meets along with managing many other points to help the Gators find success on and off the competition floor.
 
She joined USA Gymnastics after graduation, working in event management and operations. Lucero was elevated to Event Coordinator and Programs Assistant in October of 2023.
 
Lucero received her bachelor’s degree in hospitality & tourism management from Purdue in December of 2022. She was a Dean’s List student throughout her time at Purdue. The native of Rensselaer, Ind., served as the Purdue wrestling lead team manager for her final three years.
