Lady Gators Finish Seventh at Mercedes-Benz

The University of Florida Lady Gator golf team finished seventh at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship after shooting a three-round 925 (311-293-321). Purdue came form behind to win the tournament, shooting a 902.
Junior Jeanne Cho (Bradenton, Fla.) shot a 229 (78-73-78) to finish tied for 18th place as the Lady Gators' top finisher while junior Brittany Straza (Ft. Myers, Fla.) finished in 28th place with a 231 (77-75-79). Freshman Whitney Code (Tampa, Fla.) shot a 82-70-83--235 and sophomore Amanda Dick (Clearwater, Fla.) shot a 79-75-81--235 to finish tied for 34th. Freshman Andrea Vander Lende (Longwood, Fla.) rounded out the teams coring with a 238 (77-77-84).
The Lady Gators travel to Greenville, S.C. to participate in the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman on Oct. 26-28. The Lady Paladin Invitational is Florida's final tournament of the fall.
