Lady Gators Maintain Lead at Dodge ACC/SEC Tourney

The Lady Gator golf team remains in first place heading into the final day of the Dodge ACC/SEC Challenge. Florida extended its lead to 11 strokes, shooting a two-day total of 598, to maintain its lead.
"I think for us to win, we all need to play well tomorrow, because there are some good teams here," said Head Coach Jill Briles-Hinton. "On the final day, we need to maintain our focus and take it one shot at a time."
Junior Jeanne Cho (75-74--149) and sophomore Amanda Dick (76-73--149) are tied for fourth and lead all Gators. Freshmen Andrea Vander Lende (71-79--150) and Whitney Code (72-78--150) are tied for eighth after day two. Junior Brittany Straza is tied for 21st, shooting a two-round score of 157 (78-79).
Senior Kim Best, who is competing as an individual, shot an 89 in round two to finish tied for 54th.
Florida tees off at 8 a.m. Sunday for the final round, and an awards ceremony will take place at approximately 2 p.m.
