Led by sophomores Aimee Cho (Orlando, Fla.) and Tarah McNaughton (Bradenton, Fla.), the No. 9 University of Florida Lady Gator golf team stands in second place after the first round of the Franklin Street Partners Invitational. UF carded a 292 (+4), while first-place Duke carded a 279.
Cho and McNaughton are tied for second place as they carded a two-under par. McNaughton had a collegiate-best round with 70 strokes, and Cho's round of 70 ties her collegiate best.

Eight of the nine tournament teams are ranked in the NGCA Coaches' Poll. Four of those teams are ranked in the top 10 (Duke, 1; Auburn, 2; Oklahoma St., 4; UF, 9).
The Lady Gators have finished in the top five in seven of the last 12 tournaments, including their No. 4 finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship Sept. 28.
