Day One of Inverness Intercollegiate Cancelled Due to Rain

Play on day one of the 2011 Inverness Intercollegiate has been cancelled due to heavy rains that made the course unplayable. Originally scheduled for 54 holes, the tournament will now consist of 18 holes to be played at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Gators will bring a lineup of juniors T.J. Vogel (Cooper City, Fla.), Tyler McCumber (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) and Tommy Mou (Bradenton, Fla.), and freshmen J.D. Tomlinson (Gainesville, Fla.), James Monnerville (Vero Beach, Fla.) and Eric Banks (Truro, Canada) to the par-71, 7,255 yard, course. Five Gators will count towards the team score, while one player will compete as an individual.
