GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida placed 55 student-athletes on the 2015 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll, announced Thursday by league commissioner Mike Slive.
The 2015 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2014 Spring, Summer and Fall terms. . Florida's NCAA champion gymnastics team placed eight on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. The men's basketball team's seven representatives is one less than the league record UF set last season. The SEC champion men's swimming & diving team placed 18 on the list, while the women's team had 16 representatives. The women's basketball team's six SEC Academic All-SEC representatives is one away from its all-time high.
