Winners of last two events, Gators head to Evans Derby

First time event has been held since 2008
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- After winning the last two events, the Gators are on a roll heading into the Evans Derby Experience.
The event, hosted by Auburn, returns after a decade and features seven teams from the SEC while having six teams in the GolfStat top 25.
The Florida lineup will have just one change going into this weekend's tournament as Carlotta Ricolfi, who played as an individual at the Gator Invitational, slides into the No. 5 position.
Outside of the Gator, Ricolfi has been a part of the Florida lineup in every other tournament this season as her round have counted 17 of 19 times.
In addition, Marta Perez and Addie Baggely move up the lineup this week.
Perez had her highest finish of the season posting a 2-over score to tie for fifth while Baggarly also recorded a season best as she tied for 13th on the leaderboard.
A mainstay at the top of the lineup all spring has been Sierra Brooks as she has been in the top two in three of her first four events including a runner-up finish at the Gator Invite last weekend.
Taylor Tomlinson out of the No. 4 position tied for 18th last week to be the fifth Florida play inside the top 20. She will play out of the same spot this week in Auburn, Ala.
Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,280 yards at Auburn University Club in Auburn, Ala.. It is the first time the event has been held since 2008 and honors former Auburn women's golf head coaches Kim Evans (1994-2015) and Virginia Derby Grimes (1991-94).
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. The first 18-holes will be played on Sunday in a shotgun format.
The Gators' Lineup
Brooks anchors the Gators lineup for the fourth time this spring. She has posted three top two finishes in her first four tournaments.
Perez is coming off her best performance of the spring season finishing tied for fifth on the leaderboard at the Gator Invitational.
The Gator freshman slides up two positions in the lineup after posting her highest finish of the season. Baggarly tied for 13th at 4-over par at the Gator Invite.
Tomlinson was just two strokes back of Baggarly as she was the fifth Gator to finish inside of the top 20 on the leaderboard last week tying for 18th overall.

The Gator freshman will compete in her fourth tournament, all coming as an individual. Last week, Waidner recorded her first collegiate ace on No.11. She is the second Gator to have a hole-in-one this season.
