
Gators Finish Third at Mary Fossum Invitational

East Lansing, Mich. – The Florida women's golf team finished in third place, behind Virginia and Michigan State, at the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Michigan.
Along with a top five team finish, the Gators had four of their six players competing finish in the top 25 of the 16-school field.
Marta Perez and Clara Manzalini finished T6 after finishing the tournament right on par. Sierra Brooks was one stroke back, T11 with a one-over 217. Addie Baggarly finished three-over and T17 with a 219. Lauren Waidner completed the Florida lineup T33 with a nine-over 225. Competing as an individual, Jenny Kim finished the tournament T55, with a score of 230 (+14).

"Overall it was a solid week. We are leaving here with a lot of good information on how we can become a better team. We could never get anything going but we were fighting until the end and that's a great thing." – Head Coach Emily Glaser
