Gators Head North for Windy City Classic

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators women's golf hits the road for the windy city, where they will participate in the Windy City Classic in Evanston, Illinois, hosted by Northwestern.
The Gators finished fourth at the event last year, and are returning two players from that lineup, junior Marta Perez and sophomore Addison Baggarly. Freshman Clara Manzalini, junior Sierra Brooks, and sophomore Lauren Waidner will all be making first time appearances in this tournament.
As a freshman, Manzalini has played in each tournament so far this season for the Gators and had top six finishes in both. She finished T3 at the Cougar Classic and T6 at the Mary Fossum Invitational.
Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,291 yard Westmoreland Country Club golf course in Wilmette, Illinois.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over two days. The first 36 holes will be played on Monday and the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday, with both days starting at 8:30 a.m.
