
Nine Gators Set to Compete at NCAA Zones

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men's and women's diving teams will travel to Auburn, Alabama for the NCAA Diving Zones B Region. The zones start Monday, March 11, and conclude on Wednesday, March 13.
The zones will feature 87 divers, including the nine Gators. Abigail Howell, Brooke Madden, Elizabeth Perez, Lauren Snider, Teya Syskakis, and Emma Whitner will represent the women. On the men's side, Alex Farrow, Lyle Hayes-Macaluso, and Nick Lydon well compete for a chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Madden is looking to qualify for her third NCAA Championships. Howell, Perez, Snider, Syskakis, Whitner, Farrow, Hayes-Macaluso, and Lydon look to qualify for their first NCAA Championships.
After the completion of all of the zones, the NCAA will announce the list of divers that earned spots into the NCAA Championships.
Additionally, if a diver qualifies in one event, they only have to finish Top 12 in the others to also compete in those at the NCAA Championships.
Prelims begin Monday at noon with men's 1-meter followed by women's 3-meter. Follow along on divemeets.com.
