
Tickets Punched! Three Gators Qualify For NCAA Women's Tennis Championships

Gabia Paskauskas, Xinyi Nong To Compete In Singles; Nong and Niki Daubrenova in Doubles
BATON ROUGE, La. — With their performances last week at the ITA Sectional Championships, three members of the Florida Women's Tennis team punched their tickets to the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Singles & Double Championships in Orlando, Nov. 18-23. Gabia Paskauskas and Xinyi Nong qualified for the singles championships, while Nong and Niki Daubrenova will take part in the doubles championships.
The championship brackets will be revealed on Monday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. EST, and posted on NCAA.com. The individuals selected will compete in 64-player singles and 32-team doubles tournaments, with the USTA National Campus serving as the host site.

Nong toppled Tennessee's Vanesa Suarez 6-2, 1-6, 6-4; and Georgia's Sofia Rojas, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 in her pair of sectional singles matches.
Nong and Daubrenova took care of Georgia's Emily Deming and Hayden Mulbery, 6-7 (3-7), 6-1; Auburn's Ava Esposito and DJ Bennett, 3-6, 7-6 (7-1); and Vanderbilt's Bridget Stammel and Valeria Ray, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4. Stammel and Ray are ranked 37th in the nation, while Bennett and Esposito are part of the third and 28th ranked doubles teams respectively, albeit alongside different teammates.
