BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The SEC released its preseason all-conference women's basketball teams today, as voted on by all 16 head coaches, and Gators junior guard Kiyomi McMiller earned a spot on the All-SEC Second Team.
McMiller transferred to Florida during the offseason after an All-American campaign in 2025-26 that saw her average 21.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists at Penn State.
The Silver Springs, Md. native finished 12th in the nation in scoring, and was one of only five players in the country to average 20+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists on the year. McMiller scored 30 or more points seven times a season ago, including in six consecutive games punctuated by a career-high 40-point effort vs. Southern California.
Fans have their first opportunity to watch the new-look Gators in person during the team's lone exhibition game of the year, as they take on the Flagler Saints on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. ET at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Florida tips off its regular season on Monday, Nov. 2 at home vs. Bucknell at 6 p.m.
