Gators 19-under, Turner lead for final round of Calusa Cup

Jack Turner (-10) leads by three shots and looks to capture his first collegiate win as Florida holds the team lead by 10 strokes.
NAPLES, Fla. – Both the No. 3 Florida men's golf team and Jack Turner lead after 36-holes of the Calusa Cup on Monday. The Gators shot the low round of the day with a 274 (-14), which tied for their lowest by par this season as they are 19-under and lead by 10 shots.
All five scores at Calusa Pines Golf Club from the Gators were par or better as all four counting were under par. The Orange and Blue combined for a nine-under back nine and a made 12 pars, 11 birdies and only one bogey between holes 13-18. Florida has a 10 stoke advantage over USF (-9) followed by No. 2 Virginia (-5) in third place.
The Gators aim to claim its fifth win of the 2025-26 season, which would mark four consecutive seasons of five-plus tournament victories for the first time in program history. A victory tomorrow also would total 37 all-time under head coach J.C. Deacon and the third straight at the Calusa Cup.
Turner is 10-under after two rounds as he logged a second round of 66 (-6) with his second eagle of the tournament. The junior looks to capture his first collegiate victory as he owns three runner-up finishes, including his freshman year at the SEC Championship. He leads the field by three total shots.
Tied for fourth, Matthew Kress was the second Gator to shoot a 6-under 66, which was his third round of 66 this spring. His round consisted of seven birdies, 10 pars and just one bogey. The senior is 6-under through two rounds and is tied for a tournament-leading 11 birdies.
Both Parker Sands and Zack Swanwick (T21) finished strong to secure low rounds of 71 (-1). Sands was +3 through 12-holes and made four consecutive birdies between holes 14-17. The sophomore is 5-under and tied for 6th.
Despite his score not counting, Luke Poulter shot an even-par 72, a three-shot improvement from his opening round.
