Florida and Alabama will play at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday to avoid inclement weather.
HOOVER, Ala. - No. 9/18 Florida's quarterfinal game in the SEC Tournament against Alabama has been bumped up to an approximate start time of 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday as a means to avoid inclement weather.
With inclement weather in the forecast for Thursday night, the SEC will move up both scheduled quarterfinal contests. Mississippi State and Georgia will play in the first game of the day at 1 p.m. ET, with Florida vs. Alabama to follow roughly 30 minutes after.
Junior right-hander Liam Peterson (2-5, 4.00 ERA) will toe the slab for Florida against redshirt junior righty Tyler Fay (9-3, 4.43 ERA) of Alabama.
