Cyr, Surowiec Tabbed to SEC All-Tournament Team

Florida was one of four programs to place multiple players on the All-Tournament Team.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Southeastern Conference released the 2026 SEC All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the six-day event on Sunday evening, with two Florida Gators earning a spot in outfielder Blake Cyr and third baseman Ethan Surowiec.
With the Gators going 2-1 in the SEC Tournament and earning a berth in the semifinal matchup, Cyr was listed as the first of three outfielders on the All-Tournament Team while Surowiec was voted as the top third baseman. Florida was one of four schools to place multiple players on the All-Tournament Team.
Leading UF in every slash category as well as hits (nine) and RBI (eight) in Hoover, Ala., Cyr went 9-for-13 at the plate while batting .692/.714/1.462. The senior outfielder racked up 19 total bases including two homers, one triple, two doubles, six runs and one walk.
As for Surowiec, the sophomore slugger finished 6-for-12 with a .500/.571/.917 slash line in Florida's three SEC Tournament games. He tallied 11 total bases, one homer, two doubles, four runs, four RBI and two walks.
Entering postseason play, Cyr (.338) and Surowiec (.328) boast the two-highest batting averages on the UF roster. Cyr has launched 13 homers and 15 doubles in 52 games while driving in 56 runs and scoring 50 times. Surowiec has clubbed 11 big flies in his first campaign in Orange & Blue, in addition to 14 doubles, a team-high 61 RBI and 51 runs while being the lone Gator to start all 58 games.
Cyr, Surowiec and the Gators await their fate in the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament, with the complete field set to be announced via a selection show on Monday, May 25 at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
