GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida gymnastics add another west coast talent for the 2027 season.
The Florida Gators added Carsyn Coleman to its 2027 freshman class, head coach Jenny Rowland announced Thursday.
Coleman becomes the fifth signee in the Gators' 2027 class. The class already featured four other top prospects — Dulcy Caylor, Kieryn Finnell, Jayla Hang and Simone Rose — who signed in November.
Coleman is the fourth of the signees who will be competing in the O'Connell Center in 2027. Caylor opted to defer enrollment as she pursues a spot on the 2028 U.S. Olympic team.
Coach Jenny Rowland says:
"We are thrilled to welcome Carsyn to our Gator family! She brings a special combination of power, confidence and competitive presence that elevates everyone around her.
"What stands out most is her commitment, her joy and her genuine passion for the sport of gymnastics. She competes with a love for it that is contagious! Carsyn is the kind of athlete who embraces every moment and represents everything we value in this program.
"Gator Nation is going to love the energy and passion she brings to the floor, and we are excited to see her make an immediate impact on our team."
Carsyn Coleman says:
"I chose Florida because as soon as I stepped on campus it just felt like home. I know I will not only grow as an athlete but as a person too.
"What I'm most looking forward to is being in such a strong environment and training with a great group of girls! I cannot wait to give it my all in Orange and Blue!! Go Gators!"
