Men's Basketball to Tip 2026-27 Campaign vs. Miami in Tampa

Florida men's basketball will tip its 2026-27 campaign in Tampa against in-state rival Miami in the Orion180 Tip-Off Classic, it was announced on Monday. The game will take place Monday, Nov. 2, at Benchmark International Arena.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, June 8, at 10 a.m. with presales for Gator Boosters and season ticket holders taking place June 3-7.
The game will air on the ESPN family networks with the game time to be announced at a later date. Florida and Miami will be the nightcap of a doubleheader that will open with Florida State vs. Florida A&M.
The Gators lead the Hurricanes in the all-time series, 48-24, including a 1-0 mark under Todd Golden behind last season's 82-68 win in Jacksonville. UF and UM will meet in back-to-back seasons for the first time since playing three straight years during nonconference play 2014-16.
Florida returns 81.8% of its scoring from last season's SEC champion and NCAA 1-seed squad.
