GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Chris Harry has earned a pair of honors from College Sports Communicators for his work on FloridaGators.com with the announcement of the 2025-26 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest winners.
Harry earned first place in the Division I Event Coverage category for his story about the Gators' 2025 NCAA Elite Eight victory vs. Texas Tech.
In addition, Harry earned a national runner-up in the Division I Coach/Administrator Profile category for his feature profile on the retirement of long-time men's basketball academic advisor Tom Williams.
Harry, who has written for the athletic department's website since 2011, has many previous recognitions for his work from CSC (formerly CoSIDA), including a District Award for a 2025 feature on Thomas Haugh and the National Story of the Year for his 2022 story on Gator great Patric Young.
