CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Four UF golfers in Katelyn Huber, Megan Propeck, Elaine Widjaja and Siuue Wu were tabbed 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar honors, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced on Monday.
Propeck, Widjaja and Wu all earned the honor for the second time in their career.
To be selected, a student-athlete must:
Huber has continued her breakout freshman season into the summer by capturing the 2026 Florida Women's Amateur title, becoming the third consecutive Gator to win the championship. She also advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship. The Gainesville native played in her first professional event at the Epson Tour's Four Winds Invitational had back-to-back rounds of 3-under 69 to start.
She enjoyed an outstanding freshman campaign in 2025-26, earning All-SEC Freshman Team honors and SEC Freshman of the Week recognition. She competed in all 12 tournaments, appearing in the lineup for all but one event, and opened her collegiate career with a bogey-free 67 (-4) in her first round. Her 72.44 stroke average ranks the second-lowest by a freshman in program history. Huber elevated her play during the postseason, tying for 25th in stroke play at the SEC Championship before winning both of her match-play contests, including a 5-and-3 victory in the semifinals. She then paced the Gators at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional with a solo sixth-place finish at 4-under par, helping Florida advance to the NCAA Championships.
Widjaja played in nine tournaments last year and holding a stroke average of 72.4. The rising junior played a crucial role in the postseason, as she opened the NCAA National Championships with a 3-undr 69 and followed with a third round of 1-under 71 to help Florida reach the fourth round at NCAAs.
In her lone season as a Gator, Propeck left her mark. She was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year and earned All-SEC First honors en route to winning her first collegiate tournament at the OU Intercollegiate. Her fourth total All-America honor, she finished 9th in the inaugural class of the LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) to earn Epson Tour membership for the remainder of the 2026 and all of 2027 season.
An Arnold Palmer Cup selection, Propeck adds to a jump start in her professional career as she was one of five selected for the ANNIKA Development Program, designed to support recent college graduates as they transition into professional golf. The native of Leawood, Kan., was in the lineup for every round (36) and tournament (12) this season, leading the team in top-25 (10), top-10 (7) finishes and under par tournaments (7). Her stroke average of 71.6 is the fifth-lowest in UF history.
Wu also collects her first All-America nod, adding to her NCAA All-Tournament Team and All-SEC Second Team selections. The sophomore was second Gator to make her debut at U.S. Women's Open after winning a three-for-one playoff against the 2026 NCAA National Individual Champion and ANNIKA Award winner Farah O'Keefe (Texas).
She ended the season finishing T14 at 286 (-2) to tie the program's lowest by score and second-lowest by par at the National Championship. Her T14 performance is the best since Sandra Gal in a tie for 4th in 2006. The last UF golfer to shoot 286 was Elcin Ulu in 2014, and the last Gator to finish 2-under was Karen Davies in 1987. The all-time mark by par is 3-under from Cheryl Morley and Davies in 1988.
Propeck, Widjaja and Wu all earned the honor for the second time in their career.
To be selected, a student-athlete must:
- Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
- Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
