17 Gators Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

17 Gators earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, while the women’s team also earned All-Academic team status.
NEW ORLEANS – Seventeen members of the Florida track & field teams earned All-Academic Honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday afternoon, while the women's squad also earned All-Academic Team honors with a 3.13 GPA.
The Orange & Blue saw six men and 11 women meet the standards to qualify for All-Academic honors. To be eligible, athletes must have held a 3.25 or higher cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, while also owning a mark in the top 96 in any championship individual event or top 48 in the relay events during the indoor season. For the outdoor season, athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West region.
The women's team was honored with an All-Academic Team award by maintaining over a 3.0 cumulative team GPA (3.13).
