Florida men's basketball will take on Grand Canyon in the Jacksonville Hoops Showdown on Friday, Dec. 18. Time and television information will be announced at a later date.
The first series meeting between UF and GCU will mark the third straight season UF makes an appearance at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The Gators defeated Miami last season and earned a 2024-25 season-opening victory vs. South Florida.
The Gators return 81.8% of their scoring from last season's SEC championship team, including four starters, six of their eight primary rotation players and 11 players in total.
With the announcement, Florida will have games in Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa in the same season for the first time since 2016-17. The Gators' 2026-27 regular season slate is now complete.
2026-27 SEASON TICKET RENEWALS
Season ticket holders are eligible to renew their seats for the 2026-27 season through Friday, August 28th. Four-month interest-free payment plans and seat relocation opportunities are available for fans who renew by the August 28th deadline. All returning ticket holders can renew online, contact the Gator Ticket Office Service and Retention team at (352) 375-4683 or fill out a ticket information request form to be contacted.
