Gators Release 2026 Cross Country Schedule

The Gators will run their first of three regular season meets on Sept. 4
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026 Gators Cross Country schedule, featuring three regular season meets and three post season, has been released, the program announced on Thursday.
Florida will open their season on Sept. 4, when they head to Kennesaw, Ga. for the Stan Sims XC Opener. Two weeks later, the Gators will head to Terre Haute, Ind. for the John McNichols Invitational on Sept. 19.
Florida will get an opportunity to prepare for the postseason on Oct. 9, as they head to Madison, Wis. for the Nuttycombe Invitational.
The Gators will start the postseason with the SEC Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Mo. on Oct. 30. After the SEC Championship. At the 2025 SEC Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., the Gators' Women Cross Country team won the SEC championship with a score of 45 points, as Kelvin Cheruiyot took home the SEC individual title.
Following the SEC Championships, the Gators will get the opportunity to stay in Florida for the NCAA South Regional Championships in Tallahassee on Nov. 13. In the 2025 NCAA South Regional, once again the Gators' Women's Cross earned the team title and Kelvin Cheruiyot finished first to earn his ticket to the NCAA Cross Country Championship
The 2026 season will end with the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 21, which will see the Gators head back to Terre Haute, Ind.
