Gators to Play Fall Baseball Exhibition in Pensacola

Florida faces Troy on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola, Fla.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Pensacola Blue Wahoos announced their largest-ever fall baseball schedule on Tuesday morning headlined by a neutral-site exhibition game between Florida and Troy on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Featuring six NCAA Tournament teams from the 2026 season, Blue Wahoos Stadium will host three contests this October concluding with Florida vs. Troy on Oct. 24 in Pensacola, Fla. The Gators return to Pensacola for fall ball for the first time since 2013, when they took on Georgia Tech at Blue Wahoos Stadium.
"Ever since we began hosting fall college baseball at Blue Wahoos Stadium in 2024, the fan response has been overwhelmingly positive," said Blue Wahoos president Jonathan Griffith. "This unprecedented expansion of our NCAA slate helps meet the high demand for our passionate local fans, and helps bring new baseball communities to experience Pensacola's unique environment and fan experience for the first time."
Tickets for Florida vs. Troy at Blue Wahoos Stadium go on sale on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. ET. Blue Wahoos season ticket members will get exclusive early access to purchase tickets for the three scrimmages. For ticket information, visit bluewahoos.com or call the box office at (850) 934-8444.
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Founded in 2012, they won Southern League Championships in 2017 and 2022.
Entering the 2027 campaign, Florida is coming off its nation-leading, 18th-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament while delivering the program's 29th season of 40-plus wins.
