Recent Grad Program Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the Gator Boosters Program for Recent UF Grads?
    • The program gives recent University of Florida graduates the opportunity to purchase and re-new season football tickets at a reduced rate so that they can afford to become Gator Boosters and spend their Saturdays in The Swamp.
  • How do I know if I'm eligible?
    • If you graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral or Professional degree between December 2020 and May 2024, you are eligible. Individuals who are eligible to purchase UF student football tickets will not be eligible for the UF Recent Grad Gator Booster program.
  • I am graduating at the end of summer/at the end of fall. What about me?
    • People graduating in August 2024 would be eligible to purchase tickets as long as seats are still available. December 2023 graduates will begin their eligibility window with the 2024 Gator Football season.
  • When does my eligibility end?
    • Eligibility lasts for four (4) football seasons after graduation.  If individuals decide not to purchase immediately they are still bound by the window of four years since they were awarded a degree from the University of Florida. For example, if a May 2021 graduate signs up starting with the 2023 Gator football season, they will be eligible for two football seasons (2023 and 2024). For December graduates, eligibility will begin with the following year's football season (for example, a December 2023 graduate's eligibility will begin with the 2024 Gator Football season).
  • I participated last year and would like to participate again, when does the renewal process begin?
    • If you are eligible to participate for another season, season renewals begin in December and you will receive an email from the ticket office with details.
  • How much will it cost me?
    • For the 2024 Gator Football season, the cost totals $230 per season ticket plus required Gator Boosters per-seat contribution.
  • How many tickets can I request?
    • Qualifying applicants to the Gator Boosters program for recent UF grads can request up to four (4) tickets.
  • Can I request to sit with my friends?
    • New customers and renewing customers will be able to select their seats through our "Virtual Venue" seating process online. Renewing customers will be assigned a time (after the renewal deadline) where they can log-in and have the option to exchange their seat for any open seat in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. New customers will be able to see what seats are available and purchase the seats they would like. If you want to sit with friends, please make sure to select seats next to each other.
  • Where will the tickets be located?
    • Eligible recent graduates will be able to select from any available seat in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. However, the offer is not valid for premium seating areas.
  • Can I keep my seats if I choose to renew?
    • Yes. If you decide to renew your season tickets and stay in the Gator Boosters program for recent grads, then you can either (a) keep your same seats or (b) relocate your seat at your assigned selection time.
  • Can I keep my seats after my eligibility expires?
    • Yes. Once your four year window of eligibility expires you can maintain your seating location and begin paying current season ticket price plus Gator Booster per-seat contribution.
  • How do I purchase?
    • Purchase Here

Email the Gators Ticket Office (ticketoffice@gators.ufl.edu) a copy of your transcripts showing you graduated or a copy of your diploma within 5 business days. Failure to do so will result in the cancelation of your tickets.
  • So if I'm in this program then I'm a Gator Booster, right?
    • Yes, recent grad season ticket holders are Gator Boosters by making the required per-seat contribution for their seating location.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act  of 2017 provides that no deduction will be allowed for any amount contributed to an institution of higher education if the taxpayer receives, directly or indirectly, the right to purchase tickets for an athletic event of such institution. Therefore, there will no longer be a deduction for Gator Booster contributions that give you the right to purchase tickets after January 1, 2018.  No portion of any ticket related contribution made after that date is deductible.  Please consult your tax advisor.
  • If I'm a part of the program and decide to return to Florida to pursue another degree, am I eligible to sign up for this program again?
    • If we still have tickets available after we sell to our Gator Boosters, using their priority point system, we will sell to those in the UF Recent Grad Program.
