Biography

  • Prior to Florida
    • From Bomet, Kenya. 
    • Spent her 24-25 season with the Arizona State Track and Field and XC team.
    • T&F: Her college debut for track and field was at the Corky Classic, where she placed third in the women’s mile with a time of 4:52.62.
    • Won the women’s mile in the New Mexico Collegiate Classic (4:42.53).
    • XC: First Lady Sun Devil to reach the NCAA Championships since 2014, where she placed 30th in the 30th (19:59.0) in the Women’s 6k.
    • Made Big 12 All-Conference First Team and earned two Big 12 XC Women’s Runner of the Week Honors.
    • 2024 NCAA XC All-American (10th Lady Sun Devil and only freshman Sun Devil to earn this honor).
    • ASU record-holder in Women’s 6k with a 19:07.0 set at Arturo Barrios Invite
    • Placed fifth at the NCAA West Regional Championships and fourth in the Women’s 6k at the Big 12 Championships.
    • Won the women’s 6k at the UC Riverside Invite (19:31.7) and won the Women’s 2.5 mile race at the George Kyte Classic (14:09.6) - first individual title for Sun Devils since 2015
    • Prior to Arizona State, she qualified for the 2024 U20 World Championships and 2024 U20 African Games XC Championships.
