2014: Played in one game, against Eastern Kentucky, in his final season with the Gators… Named the Most Valuable Defensive Scout Team player…Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. 2013: Saw action as a reserve at wide receiver in the home-opener versus Toledo…SEC Academic Honor Roll. 2012: Moved to wide receiver prior to the start of the 2012 season… Did not see any action in games… Named the Scout Team Player of the Week against Texas A&M and Florida State…SEC Academic Honor Roll. 2011: Did not see any game action… Shared time running the Scout Team offense… Named the Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week following the Vanderbilt game...SEC Academic Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Played quarterback, free safety and tight end at the Lakeland Christian School, where he was a three-year letterman in football… Accounted for 22 touchdowns with over 1,500 yards passing during his time at quarterback… Set a defensive team record for most interceptions in a season and most interceptions in a single game… Earned all-county honors during both his junior and senior campaigns… Was a two-time captain in football and was coached by Bobby Dan McGlohorn… Also captained the basketball team and was a two-year letterman… Member of the National Honor Society and was the President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
